Humanitarian Efforts
The Madison Rochelle Alfano Foundation is committed to offering compassionate aid to individuals and families facing hardship. Rooted in empathy and driven by action, our efforts extend to those affected by crisis, instability, or systemic inequity.

We provide emergency relief, support community development projects, and champion initiatives that uphold human rights and dignity. Whether through direct assistance or collaborative programs, we address both immediate needs and long-term challenges.

Through this work, the Foundation seeks to alleviate suffering, empower individuals to rebuild their lives, and foster a more just and compassionate world—one where every person is treated with respect, care, and humanity.

Matt Rife Fundraiser Raffle
Benefitting The Ryan Family
“During the past holiday season I bought Madison tickets to see Matt Rife in Atlantic City. Since it was the day before her 19th Birthday I thought it would be so cool. Of course she was so excited she posted the screenshot on her Insta and was so happy when Matt Liked the post.” – Lou Alfano.

The Madison Rochelle Alfano Foundation has decided that the best way to honor Madison’s memory is to donate the tickets to benefit the family below. Since Madison and her sisters attended PS 56 and Madison Poppy was DSNY this is extra special to us.

On Saturday, April 6th, our dear friends Tina and Rob Ryan’s home caught fire. Tina’s mother, Marilyn, was in the home when the fire broke out and is currently in critical condition in SIUH’s Burn Unit. She is not doing well, all prayers for her recovery are appreciated.

Tina and Rob have spent the last 10 years dreaming of rebuilding this home that generations of Tina’s family grew up in and less than a month after moving in and getting ready to welcome their second child it was gone.

Tina is a beloved member of the PS 56 family and Rob is a supervisor for DSNY; they are loving parents to their 3 year old son Robbie and Tina is 9 months pregnant with their baby girl.

Raising Money for
#RoccoStrong
The P.T.A. of P.S. 62 hosted its gala on March 28, 2024. A basket auction was held which raised $1,000 for #RoccoStrong. The Madison Rochelle Alfano Foundation decided to match that amount and donated an additional $1,000 bringing the total raised that night to $2,000.

This is the first of many initiatives we will do for a community in need.

And, it’s thanks to the support of our donors and volunteers.
